Cybersecurity Platform Provider SentinelOne Hires Ric Smith as CTO

SentinelOne, a cybersecurity solution encompassing AI-powered prevention, detection, response and hunting across endpoints, containers, cloud workloads, and IoT devices, has hired Ric Smith as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). With over 15 years of experience driving product development in pre- and post-IPO companies, Mr. Smith is hired to accelerate SentinelOne’s global R&D efforts and support further growth of their Singularity XDR platform across the endpoint, cloud, and IoT security markets.

Joining SentinelOne from Medallia, a leading Customer Experience (CX) platform provider, Mr. Smith oversaw engineering prior to and following the company’s IPO. Prior to Medallia, Ric Smith held multiple engineering leadership roles at Oracle.
