Tech Data Adds Akamai’s Defense-in-Depth Technology to Its Portfolio

Representing CDN provider Akamai’s first partnership with a technology distributor, Tech Data has added Akamai’s cloud security solutions to its security portfolio. All Akamai services provided through Tech Data are cloud- and hosting-provider-agnostic.

Tech Data customers in the U.S. and Canada can now leverage any of the following three comprehensive Akamai Technologies solution packages:

  • Web application firewall protection
  • Accelerated performance of web and mobile applications
  • Enterprise traffic protection and remote application access

These services would include a 100 percent uptime guarantee and integration without significant changes needed to infrastructure and software at the end-user site.
