Data Center Operator Digital Fortress Expands Management Team

Digital Fortress, a privately held U.S. West Coast data center provider delivering carrier-neutral colocation servicesĀ and managed cloud, has appointed Steve Voit to executive vice president (VP) of sales & marketing and Robi Johnston to vice president (VP) of operations, as international demand for its services continues to climb.

Steve Voit is a seasoned technology executive with extensive growth experience.Ā Prior to joining Digital Fortress, Mr. Voit was an executive at T-Mobile. As director of business and partner development, he helped generate over $100 million in new business over a 14-month period.Ā Mr. Voit has worked in the technology markets for over 20 years including senior sales and marketing roles at Impinj, Itronx and Netmotion Wireless.Ā At Digital Fortress, Voit will be responsible for expanding the company’s customer base and product lines.

Robi Johnston joins Digital Fortress from 2nd Watch where she was instrumental in developing and operating the top AWS partner’s managed cloud business. Digital Fortress has tasked Mrs. Johnston with developing its hybrid IT infrastructure managed services offerings. She brings over 15 years’ experience in telco and enterprise cloud operations and engineering. Her previous employers include EMC, New Bay, Nextel and T-Mobile.
