EdgePresence, an owner and operator of multi-tenant, edge computing Points-of-Presence (PoPs), has teamed with Datacenters.com – the marketplace for buyers and sellers of colocation, cloud, and connectivity – to provide space, power, bandwidth, and connections. Datacenters.com is one of the world’s largest directories, with almost 3,000 data center locations from hundreds of suppliers listed throughout 145 countries.
Datacenters.com will now be able to provide EdgePresence’s EdgePod data centers and edge colocation services to its network of independent sales agents, consultants, brokers, and MSPs as a result of the partnership.
Edge Data Centers (EDCs) by EdgePresence are modular, purpose-built colocation data centers that are meant to integrate critical power, monitoring, physical security, and cooling. Clients will be able to colocate workloads to the ‘far edge’ to further reduce latency and enhance performance for chosen applications. These EDCs will be located at strategic sites such as the base of cell towers, critical real estate, and enterprise campus locations.

Edge Data Center Deployment
EdgePresence is presently deploying in major areas across the United States, with the capability of providing ‘curbside colocation,’ or putting the edge where companies need it. EdgePresence has listed its company profile as well as available edge data center sites on the platform, including Jacksonville, Fla., and Statesboro, Ga., in collaboration with the Datacenters.com team. EdgePresence is also securing future installations in additional major areas, and will continue to highlight its edge data center services when new markets are revealed.
