DataSite Hires Industry Vets Ahead of Boise, Idaho Colocation Facility Opening

DataSite, a colocation provider with data centers in Orlando, FL, Atlanta, GA, and now also Boise, Idaho, has announced two new hires. The new employees, Lucas Linnemeyer and Dennis Fox, are industry veterans and will be responsible for Sales & Marketing and Operations of the soon to open 60,000 square foot colocation facility in Boise.

The company’s new Boise location would be one of the most technologically advanced colocation facilities in the region, providing businesses with capabilities previously available only in larger metro areas. With its advanced data center, DataSite Boise also brings $20 million of expansion capital to ensure its 60,000 square foot fortress will scale with the growing needs of the Boise Valley and Intermountain region.

Dennis Fox is a critical facilities building services veteran with over 20 years of experience in Boise alone. As the Chief Critical Environmental Technician (CET), Mr. Fox is charged with overseeing the operations, maintenance and management of all critical power and cooling systems in the DataSite Boise colocation facility ensuring a 100% uptime track record.

In addition to bringing his technical expertise to the team, Mr. Fox has a strong commitment to the community and his trade. He is the president of the Idaho Chapter of ASHRAE, the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers. ASHRAE helps to define the standards to which premier data center facilities operate. Mr. Fox holds certifications as HVAC Journeyman and Electrical Specialty Journeyman and is a member of the local Boise Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA).

Lucas Linnemeyer, an Idaho native, has an extensive track record within the sales and marketing arena, including over five years of experience in the Boise colocation market space. With a deep understanding of the IT infrastructure needs of local and regional businesses, Lucas’ background would position him to lead the sales and marketing efforts for DataSite Boise. Mr. Linnemeyer attended Boise State University.
