Dedicated Server Hosting Provider ServerMania Opens New Dallas Data Center

ServerMania, a provider of dedicated servers, cloud, VPS hosting and colocation, has announced the addition of a new Dallas, Texas data center to its portfolio of facilities. ServerMania‘s new SSAE 16 certified data center will offer a full range of enterprise infrastructure hosting products, including dedicated servers and hybrid server solutions.

With redundant connections to multiple bandwidth providers, including Telia, XO, and TierPoint, the facility would offer a low-latency, total availability hosting environment capable of supporting the most demanding business applications.

“Dallas is the location our clients want, so expanding to Dallas was an easy decision for us,” said Kevin Blanchard, CEO of ServerMania.

“Earlier this year we surveyed our clients to find out where they’d like us to expand our network infrastructure,” said Kevin Blanchard, CEO of ServerMania. “Dallas was by far the most popular option. Dallas offers the network connectivity and infrastructure services we need to achieve the reliability and performance our clients expect, and it’s the location our clients want, so expanding to Dallas was an easy decision for us.”

The new Dallas data center would offer low-latency connectivity throughout the US. In addition, it would also have good connectivity to Central and South America. A diverse-path fiber ring provides redundant connections to the backbone network, which is especially tuned to serve Central and South America.

As with all ServerMania facilities, the Dallas data center is highly secured. Security personnel guard the building and the data center floor around the clock. Physical ID and strict biometric authentication is required for access to the data center and office facilities. Monitored internal and external video surveillance would ensure any attempt at unauthorized access is quickly discovered and mitigated.

Power is provided by redundant 2N power via four autonomous power plants, with six back-up diesel generators and an on-site fuel reserve of 50,000 liters.
