NetActuate, a U.S. provider of bare metal servers, virtual machines, and colocation services operating one of the world’s largest networks, has completed a major upgrade in their Los Angeles data center. This would significantly increase the company’s capacity for hosting infrastructure and network services reaching the US West Coast markets.
Purpose-built to support high-density, high-scalability requirements, NetActuate’s Los Angeles location provides access to over 780 customers. This includes nearly 500 network, cloud and IT service providers, as well as a variety of ISPs, enterprises and digital content providers. Customers in this data center would enjoy a multitude of options for interconnection and native access to AWS Direct Connect, Microsoft Azure ExpressRoute, Google Cloud Platform and IBM Cloud Direct Link.
The data center upgrades included the addition of new connectivity partners, reducing latency and improving resiliency for NetActuate’s network services. Significant additional capacity would now be available for the company’s bare metal, virtual machines, and colocation services.
“Upgrading and expanding our Los Angeles footprint took a lot of time and effort, but we are very pleased with the results,” said Mark Mahle, CEO and Principal Technology Architect. “We have greatly expanded our capacity for infrastructure services and are already seeing improvements in network performance to end users in the US West Coast market.”
