ServerMania, a provider of dedicated servers, (hybrid) cloud and colocation services, has added a new Montreal, Canada data center to its range of North American infrastructure hosting locations.
Founded in 2012, ServerMania experienced massive demand for its “low-cost” dedicated server and cloud hosting platforms, with 300% growth in the first year alone. The new Montreal data center would allow ServerMania to support its rapidly growing client list while serving as the foundation for new hosting products – including new dedicated server packages.
The “innovative” design of ServerMania’s new Montreal data center would enable the company to rapidly deploy bare metal servers at a rate of up to 20 cabinets in 24 hours. With up to 40kW of power available per rack, the facility would be able to accommodate the largest colocation hosting deployments.
“Our network infrastructure will be future-proof for many years to come,” said Server Mania Director of IT, Jay Caissie. “This Tier 3 data center has the capacity for up to 4000 cabinets, 50 Megawatts of power, and 9 data halls. It allows us to deploy nearly 2 dozen cabinets in less than 24 hours for our colocation customers. From an IaaS perspective, we are confident that customers will find more value with us than any other provider they’ve been with.”
The Montreal facility is the first phase in ServerMania’s expansion plans for 2017. In Q2, ServerMania will introduce a brand-new London, UK data center, further cementing its status as a global infrastructure hosting provider.
