Dedicated Server Company WiredTree Adds TeliaSonera to Its Range of Network Connectivity Providers

WiredTree, a provider of dedicated servers and VPS hosting, has announced the addition of TeliaSonera, one of Europe’s largest IP backbone operators, to its comprehensive range of network connectivity providers. This would further enhance WiredTree’s ability to offer high-performance, low latency connectivity to Europe.

WiredTree’s global network includes the largest Tier–1 bandwidth providers in the world: Level 3, NTT, GTT, and now TeliaSonera. By connecting to these network providers with a wide global presence, the dedicated server provider would be able to offer low latency to its clients no matter where in the world their users are.

teliasonera-network“The WiredTree mission is simple: we provide high-performance managed hosting with the best network connectivity, leaving our clients free to build their sites and applications in full confidence that our expert system administrators have their back,” said Zac Cogswell, President of WiredTree. “The addition of TeliaSonera connectivity means we’re now able to offer the fastest possible connections to the important European online marketplace.”

Intelligent Routing

Redundant links to TeliaSonera’s global network is only one of the ways that WiredTree ensures that its clients have the fastest international connections. The dedicated server provider also employs Noction’s intelligent routing platform, which provides optimized BGP routing to guarantee that packets take the optimal path to their destination. Noction’s active route monitoring would enable WiredTree to send packets around network failures and degraded connections, taking advantage of the fastest routes across the best networks.

Earlier this year, WiredTree upgraded many of its routers to the latest model Brocade NetIron XMR series. The new high-density multi-service routers include fifth-generation network processors and enhanced Quality-of-Service functionality for consistent and reliable bandwidth under the heaviest of loads.
