DNS forward zone records
“Our Anycast DNS Service allows customers’ DNS records to be distributed to POPs around the world,” said Chris Kurzweg, CEO of ServerPronto. “We are providing this service to all of our cloud hosting, dedicated server and VPS hosting clients for a nominal fee. This will allow customers to manage their own DNS forward zone records without our intervention.”
Kurzweg cited several benefits of Anycast DNS, including increased website performance and uptime, a dramatic latency decrease, another layer of protection against natural disasters, DDoS attacks and network failures, and an overall better user experience.
ServerPronto is the hosting subsidiary of Infolink that currently has customers in 130 nations. The company calls itself a low-cost revolution in the hosting industry since 2003.
