Dell SecureWorks, provider of information security services, has announced the launch of Managed Server Protection services for dedicated servers, cloud servers and virtual servers so organizations can secure their servers with an all-in-one service. This is planned to launch in Q1 2014.
The new Managed Server Protection solution utilizes key components of Trend Micro’s Deep Security offering, including its firewall, Intrusion Detection and Intrusion Protection System (IDS/IPS) and anti-malware protection. Dell SecureWorks’ Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC)-certified analysts will monitor, analyze and help remediate any security events uncovered by the Deep Security software.
The Managed Server Protection solution includes:
- 24×7 security-event monitoring
- health and uptime monitoring
- a unified customer portal
- policy creation/management
- health management
- a hosted management console
