Deutsche Telekom Brings Service Automation to B2B Domain with Netcracker

Netcracker Service Orchestration has been selected by Deutsche Telekom to automate its B2B services across multivendor software-defined WAN, LAN, and Wi-Fi (SD-X) systems. Netcracker is in charge of the whole cloud-based solution, including development and deployment, as well as continuing operations provided as a managed service.

Deutsche Telekom will have the expertise and autonomy to onboard and configure new technology, services, and features thanks to good collaboration and the utilization of Netcracker’s self-onboarding DevOps tools, knowledge transfer program, and Agile deployment. The solution is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS), ensuring worldwide scalability if clients want it.

“We looked at the hypercompetitive and critical enterprise market and knew we wanted the most cutting-edge automation software with a cloud deployment model so that we could gain new revenue streams in multiple B2B segments,” said Peter Arbitter, Senior VP for B2B Portfolio & Product Management at Telekom Deutschland.

Deutsche Telekom would benefit from streamlined and autonomous operations in the B2B sector with Netcracker Service Orchestration, reflecting a similar successful strategy in the core and transport domains. Zero-touch provisioning and completely automated service lifecycle management and assurance will be used for services and features.

With a single pane of glass, the system delivered by Netcracker will handle multivendor SD-X connection and value-added services from client to cloud. With new SD-X services, Deutsche Telekom will be able to develop more quickly and better address the changing demands of B2B clients.

“We looked at the hypercompetitive and critical enterprise market and knew we wanted the most cutting-edge automation software with a cloud deployment model so that we could gain new revenue streams in multiple B2B segments,” said Peter Arbitter, Senior VP for B2B Portfolio & Product Management at Telekom Deutschland, Deutsche Telecom’s service unit for enterprise telco clients. “Through our extensive collaboration with Netcracker, we have reached an important milestone that lays the foundation for innovation and business growth.”
