At VMworld 2015, DevOps platform provider CloudMunch will show its new CloudOps for the hybrid cloud solution. The company has announced general availability of the solution that would provide enterprises with a new feature set to build, scale and manage infrastructure and applications across IT environments.
Today, enterprises are challenged to manage complex development workflows while deploying applications, in the cloud and in hybrid environments. The CloudMunch CloudOps solution would simplify the development process across public, private and hybrid cloud infrastructures, so enterprises can achieve faster release cycles, improve quality and promote continuous technology innovation.
CloudMunch’s CloudOps-as-a-Service solution is an enterprise-focused hybrid cloud DevOps solution that runs natively on several public clouds including VMware vCloud Air. With the solution, organizations would be able to develop and move applications seamlessly between on-premises and off-premises, helping teams orchestrate the entire DevOps process in a single workspace – regardless of the organization’s DevOps environment.
“Companies are looking for new development and deployment options for their IT infrastructure to meet rapidly changing business requirements,” said Michael Cincinatus, senior director, Product Marketing, Cloud Services, VMware. “Our work with CloudMunch on CloudOps enables customers to take advantage of the speed and agility of virtual infrastructure while using their preferred tools and existing systems in the enterprise data center.”
CloudMunch supports popular tools such as Chef, Puppet, Jenkins and other industry leading dev & ops tools.
