Digital Realty Trust, a global provider of data center and colocation services, has selected network provider tw telecom to connect Digital Realty customers in 12 key North American markets to Amazon Web Services (AWS). The colocation provider will utilize tw telecom’s “eLynk Express for AWS service” for its connections to the AWS cloud hosting environment.
Currently, tw telecom is offering eLynk Express to AWS in the following Digital Realty markets: Arizona, California, Colorado,Georgia, Florida, Illinois, Minnesota, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Texas and Washington.
The “eLynk Express for AWS” solution, only available from tw telecom, would create new bandwidth options and streamline the activation process going to and through the data center to integrate the network, the data center and the application.
