EdgeConneX, a wholesale provider of data center services for content, network, colocation, CDNs and service providers, has partnered with TelNet Worldwide (TelNet), a full service provider of cloud communications services, to develop a Southeast Michigan based Tier III data center in the city of Southfield, in the Detroit area.
Poised for a November 2014 launch, the newest Edge Data Centerwould combine EdgeConneX innovation, including purpose-built design, advanced engineering and rapid deployment capabilities coupled with TelNet’s greater Michigan go-to-market expertise and customer service focus.
With over 14 Edge Data Centers, operational or under construction, EdgeConneX is one of the fastest growing data center company’s in the U.S. Their data centers boast a new and proprietary online data center infrastructure management system (DCIM) that provides real-time visibility into each center’s operation. This DCIM monitoring tool will be customized for TelNet’s use in providing service to its customers.
