Elastic Announces AWS Collaboration Expansion

Elastic (NYSE: ESTC), the company behind Elasticsearch, has announced an expansion to its collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS). The two firms will work together to create, advertise, and supply seamless access to Elastic Cloud on AWS, taking advantage of AWS’s worldwide scale and variety of services.

Expanding competences to facilitate migration to Elastic Cloud on AWS, simplifying onboarding to Elastic Cloud on AWS and expediting data intake, and new go-to-market activities are among the areas of collaboration.

Elastic has been certified as an AWS ISV Workload Migration Program (WMP) Partner to help clients migrate to Elastic Cloud on AWS as an AWS Partner. Elastic has also received many AWS verified credentials, demonstrating a high degree of specialization, AWS technical experience, and shown client success.

Simplifying Onboarding to Elastic Cloud on AWS

Customers may now get faster time to value with Elastic Cloud on AWS, thanks to a new streamlined onboarding process. Elastic will focus on offering an improved account creation and setup integration that would cut the time it takes to set up Elastic Cloud on AWS from hours to minutes.

The firms have already implemented more than 20 integrations to simplify data intake into Elastic Cloud on AWS as part of an existing technical partnership driven by customer demand. Integrations with AWS FireLens, Amazon S3 Storage Lens, AWS WAF, and AWS Network Firewall, as well as the Elastic serverless forwarder, which is available through the AWS Serverless Application Repository, are part of this development effort. Elastic would continue to invest in AWS to enable clients to easily feed AWS logs, metrics, and events into Elastic Cloud on AWS. The company stated it will result in actionable results.

Go-to-Market Initiatives

Elastic and AWS will engage in combined go-to-market activities as part of their extended partnership, including a free 7-day trial through the AWS Marketplace and Elastic delivering competitive pricing for its products listed on the AWS Marketplace.

AWS has agreed to collaborate with Elastic to generate new business and shorten sales cycles through the AWS sales department. As a result of Elastic’s participation in the AWS ISV Accelerate program, AWS is giving Elastic Cloud co-selling support with AWS field sales teams throughout the world, as well as a joint commitment to customer success from AWS and Elastic.
