Evoque Data Center Solutions Unveils ‘Application-First’ Initiative

Evoque Data Center Solutions advocates a flexible, application-first approach, in which each workload uses exactly the infrastructure it requires. The company therefore has unveiled a new solution that gives businesses the flexibility and power to move away from an infrastructure-first approach, in which workloads are forced into existing infrastructures.

“Our MGI strategy speaks to clients’ needs to deploy today’s application workloads across a blended infrastructure,” said Andy Stewart, President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Evoque Data Center Solutions.

On a worldwide scale, Evoque’s MGI solution is designed to operate with today’s top cloud-based suppliers, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and others. MGI is particularly intended to provide concrete benefits to businesses, both now and as their needs change.

Evoque’s MGI solution would provide each application with the exact infrastructure it requires to offer predictable economics and performance, allowing businesses to “effortlessly” adjust their ever-changing demands and gaining a competitive market edge.

“Evoque’s introduction of its Multi-Generational Infrastructure strategy is consistent with enterprise requirements for implementing digital infrastructure,” said Courtney Munroe, Research Vice President at IDC. “MGI can help enterprises reduce complexity and delivers a strategic, seamless and disruption-free roadmap across multiple locations, including colocation and cloud instances.”

Foghorn Consulting Acquisition

The announcement comes on the heels of Evoque recently acquiring Foghorn Consulting, a Silicon Valley-based cloud consultant with strong experience in DevOps, CI/CD, Container, SRE, and Infrastructure as Code. For organizations wanting to accelerate innovation in a holistic way across the lifespan of their apps, Foghorn’s specialists adapt the MGI strategy across a variety of use cases. Foghorn has a decade of experience working with businesses ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 organizations.

“Our MGI strategy speaks to clients’ needs to deploy today’s application workloads across a blended infrastructure,” said Andy Stewart, President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Evoque Data Center Solutions. “It points to our ability, with the addition of Foghorn, to tailor solutions across colocation and cloud environments and more, with the ability to change workload deployments over time as their business and application needs evolve.”
