Finance and Investment Forum Asia to Focus on Data Center, Hosting Growth Opportunities

web-hosting-hong-kongLeading international data center, hosting and cloud players will gather in Hong Kong on 6th November this year for the annual Finance and Investment Forum for Datacenters, Hosting and Cloud Asia, with global providers Digital Realty and Savvis, a CenturyLink Company announced as joint Patrons. The event will take place in the luxurious hotel Grand Hyatt Hong Kong.

Official media partner of the event is Datacentres.com and a variety of eminent persons within the data center and hosting business have already been announced as speakers during the one-day forum. Among them: Steve Wallage – Managing Director of BroadGroup Consulting, Jonathan Leung – Vice President and Head of Hosting Services Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited, Mark Smith – Managing Director Asia Savvis, a CenturyLink Company, Jonathan Atkin – Managing Director RBC Capital Markets, LLC, and Kris Kumar – Senior Vice President & Regional Head Asia Pacific Digital Realty.

The objective of the one-day forum is to bring together stakeholders and players in the sector across the finance and investment community, to assess datacenters, hosting and cloud, identify key opportunities emerging in Asia and China, the types of finance available, mergers and acquisitions, debt versus risk and mezzanine financing. Discussion will also cover the different types of funders, lessons from the US and Europe, and financial and business model assumptions.

An investor breakfast will also take place as a prelude to the main conference. Entering the “den” of potential investors, a series of short pitches will be made to the audience from companies currently seeking investment for a variety of datacenter projects.
