Fogo Data Centers, a colocation and cloud hosting provider with data center facilities located in Carrollton, Georgia, New Orleans, Louisiana and Pensacola, FL, has announced that Bill Esslinger has joined its executive team as Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors.
Bill Esslinger is founder and principal of Esslinger Tech Law, a consulting firm specializing in start-up and growth phase technology companies. Prior to founding Esslinger Tech Law, he served as Vice President, General Counsel & Secretary of Greenway Medical Technologies, Inc. for 14 years

Mr. Esslinger led Greenway’s legal team and advised the company’s board of directors and management through six rounds of private financing and an initial public offering (IPO) on the New York Stock Exchange, raising in excess of $150 million in the aggregate, as well as the successful $644 million acquisition by Vista Equity Partners in November 2013, which resulted in Greenway becoming a privately held company.

Richard M. Haney, Jr., co-Founder of Fogo Data Centers, remains actively involved in management as President and Chairman of the Board of Directors. Edith F. Haney, co-Founder of the company, continues to serve on the Board of Directors and as Executive Vice President, General Counsel & Secretary for the Company.

Deborah Ingle Esslinger
Along with Mr. Esslinger, Deborah Ingle Esslinger, President of Esslinger Tech Law, has also joined the Board of Directors for Fogo Data Centers. She will bring a new perspective to the Board that would enhance the company’s evaluation of growth opportunities as well as its leadership development initiative.
Mrs. Esslinger’s expertise in software development and product management includes a wide variety of technology platforms and application domains, including a combined 15 years of experience at Georgia Tech Research Institute, where she designed, developed, and tested software systems in electronic defense and modeling and simulation domains, and Greenway Medical Technologies, Inc., where she developed the initial version of Greenway’s electronic medical record, led the PrimeSuite product management department, and founded other product lines during her tenure, including mobile and research products.
