FTE Networks, a networking infrastructure solutions company headquartered in Naples, Florida, with offices throughout the United States and Europe, has signed a Master Service Agreement (MSA) with colocation services provider, EdgeConneX. Under the agreement, FTE Networks will provide its Inside Plant (ISP) services within Edge Data Centers worldwide.
EdgeConneX provides its colocation services in more than 3,000 U.S. locations and has 24 Edge Data Centers across the U.S. and five underway across Europe.
“We are very pleased to have secured this MSA with EdgeConneX due to our best in class infrastructure deployment solutions,” said Anthony Sirotka, Chief Business Development Officer of FTE Networks (FTNW). “This contract is in line with our strategy to shift our revenue concentration towards ISP work due to better gross margins and higher profits. It also continues to support our geographic expansion and services in regions across the U.S. and abroad.”
Edge Data Centers would host bandwidth intensive and latency sensitive data closer to end-users.
“We believe that choosing FTE Networks was the right decision to ensure our success because they deliver superior work, are scalable while able to keep costs down and increase our speed to market,” said Clint Heiden, Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), EdgeConneX. “This is the beginning of a long-lasting partnership.”
