Georgia-based Municipality Selects OVHcloud to Power Its Smart City Applications

The City of Peachtree Corners, Georgia, one of the first 5G smart cities in the U.S. powered by real-world connected infrastructure, has selected hosting provider OVHcloud’s U.S. entity for its smart city applications. In order to assist Peachtree Corners manage, analyze, obtain vital insights and take informed decision-making in large volumes of autonomous vehicle data, OVHcloud US will supply compute, storage, and other cloud platform resources.

Located in the metro-Atlanta region, the City of Peachtree Corners, Georgia is home to more than 45,000 residents and an innovation hub that is home to some of the world’s most revolutionary firms of technology.

As partners, OVHcloud US and Peachtree Corners intend to speed up innovation across the city, notably on the autonomous car test track of Peachtree Corner and their Curiosity Lab Innovation Center.

Peachtree Corners and members of the city’s Curiosity Lab Innovation Center will be able to leverage OVHcloud’s global cloud infrastructure.
