CDNetworks, a global CDN provider, has achieved PCI-DSS (Payment Card Industry-Data Security Standard) Certification for the sixth year in a row. As a PCI DSS Certified solution with built-in DDoS mitigation, CDNetworks meets the comprehensive data security standards set by the PCI Security Council.
The PCI security standard dictates a set of comprehensive requirements for “enhancing payment account data security” such as credit card numbers, names, addresses, email, etc. It was developed by the founding members of the PCI Security Standards Council, including American Express, Discover Financial Services, JCB International, MasterCard Worldwide, and Visa, to help facilitate the broad adoption of consistent data security measures on a global basis.
“With CDNetworks, we don’t have to build spare IT capacity to handle the Christmas spike in website traffic,” said Thierry Bourgade, Website Project Manager at King Jouet, a European ecommerce toy retailer. “Now our capacity naturally expands as needed.”
CDNetworks is a global content delivery network (CDN) with fully integrated Cloud Security DDoS protection and web application firewall. CDNetworks accelerates more than 40,000 websites and cloud services over a network of 200 global PoPs in established and emerging markets including China and Russia.
The CDN provider has been serving enterprise customers for 16 years across industries such as gaming, finance, ecommerce, high tech, manufacturing, and media. CDNetworks’ offices are located in the U.S., UK, South Korea, China, Japan, and Singapore.
