CyrusOne (NASDAQ: CONE), a global colocation solutions provider, has added BroadAspect as a new cloud-solutions channel partner and live network carrier in its new Sterling, Northern Virginia data center. BroadAspect offers a complete set of managed private, virtual private, and hybrid cloud hosting infrastructure services tailored to growing enterprises.
BroadAspect will engage with the CyrusOne channel-partner network via CyrusOne’s facility in Northern Virginia. At full build, the 14-acre site is expected to accommodate a shell of approximately 400,000 square feet, with up to 240,000 square feet of colocation square footage (CSF), 36,000 square feet of Class A office space, and up to 48 megawatts of critical load.
The CyrusOne channel-partner program is for third-party cloud hosting, managed-services, and hosting providers involved in selling or referring CyrusOne data center solutions to their customers. Channel partners add CyrusOne’s data center facility and interconnection solutions to their own product sets. In addition, CyrusOne customers have access to top-tier providers of IT services.
“As a part of their channel-partner network program, we can collaborate with multiple organizations to offer CyrusOne customers a powerful, but flexible, IT platform,” said Christopher Chamberlain, CEO, BroadAspect. “We chose to work with CyrusOne because we only partner with top-tier data center facilities with a strong commitment to reliability and industry-leading uptime. CyrusOne adds that value for our customers.”
CyrusOne serves nine of the Fortune 20 and more than 140 of the Fortune 1000 among its more than 655 customers. The company operates 25 data centers worldwide.
“Our infrastructure is the reliable foundation that enables our cloud, managed services, and hosting channel partners to deliver innovative solutions,” said Fred Holloway, vice president, channel sales, CyrusOne. “They sell our services to their customers and our existing customers gain access to what they have to offer through these arrangements. We look for all of our channel partners to be recognized experts and leaders in their respective fields, which is what makes BroadAspect such a good fit for our program.”
