GTT’s Secure Connect Service Aimed at Enhancing Enterprise Cloud Security

GTT Communications, a worldwide cloud networking supplier to multinational clients, has announced the launch of its new Secure Link solution. It aims to expand and reinforce the security of enterprise networks that connect to the Internet and can be accessed by users from anywhere.

“Customers are demanding network integrated security solutions that are comprehensive with an improved user experience,” said Don MacNeil, COO at GTT.

GTT Managed SD-WAN interfaces with the new service, which is built on the SASE foundation. GTT Secure Connect uses a single cloud platform to deliver network security in an agile and pervasive manner, including features such as CASB (Cloud Access Security Broker), SWG (Secure Web Gateway), ZTNA (Zero Trust Network Access), and FWaaS (Firewall as a Service).

In an environment marked by increasing usage of digital technologies, widespread acceptance of cloud applications, and a remote workforce, GTT Safe Connect answers the rising need for secured access to organizational resources.

GTT Secure Connect is delivered through the cloud, allowing for centralized policy control at the site and user level, as well as extending the security perimeter to any network endpoint. Furthermore, the integration of security with GTT Managed SD-WAN capability would enhance speed and simplify network management.
