H5 Data Centers, a provider of carrier hotels and edge data centers, has acquired the 505 Marquette facility. This carrier hotel has a total floor area of over 225,000 square feet in the heart of Albuquerque. As a former tenant of the property, H5 Data Centers previously operated a number of data centers at the building.

With more than 20 on-site communications carriers, access to multiple long-haul fiber providers, and a developing ecosystem of cloud service providers, content providers, and businesses, the building is one of New Mexico’s important interconnection hubs. Office, retail, and storage space are also for lease in the mixed-use building.

“505 Marquette has long served as one of Albuquerque’s most interconnected access points,” said Josh Simms, founder and CEO of H5 Data Centers. “We have previously operated several data centers at the building as a tenant, but we look forward to growing our operations and expanding the building’s infrastructure as the owner in support of our growing customer base and IT infrastructure community.”
