H5 Data Centers and Comcast Business are expanding their existing U.S. wide partnership at the 225,000 square foot carrier hotel 505 Marquette in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In order to assist tenants of H5 Data Centers, Comcast Business now provides a redundant, 100G capable network Point-of-Presence (PoP) at the carrier hotel.
The parties’ ongoing relationship across the country is expanded by this most recent partnership in Albuquerque, which also includes the markets of Atlanta, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Denver, Minneapolis, Nashville, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, and Seattle.
Businesses in Albuquerque, New Mexico, can take advantage of a variety of network solutions provided by Comcast Business, including Ethernet Network Service (ENS), Ethernet Private Line (EPL), Ethernet Virtual Private Line (EVPL), and Ethernet Dedicated Internet (EDI), which are all compliant with Metro Ethernet Forum. Comcast Business may also provide more sophisticated services including direct cloud on-ramp services, DDoS protection, and software-defined networking options like SD-WAN with integrated Unified Threat Management (UTM) services.
“505 Marquette has long served as one of Albuquerque’s most interconnected access points,” said Josh Simms, founder and CEO of H5 Data Centers. “Comcast Business manages one of the most important networks in New Mexico and can greatly contribute to the communications service ecosystem at 505 Marquette.”
Business Demand for Cloud and Data Storage Solutions
According to Robert Thompson, Vice President of Comcast Business in the Mountain West, as business demand for cloud and data storage solutions increases, it would be essential for network solution providers to pursue partnerships with data center providers to strengthen network redundancy and support as well as to help ensure that assets crucial to a business’ operations are managed appropriately. “We believe that our deepened collaboration with H5 Data Centers will further enable companies to focus on and optimize the security, performance and availability of their network operations across several markets.”
