Advomas, a Michigan-based healthcare insurance company, has selected Online Tech for delivering HITECH and HIPAA compliant cloud hosting services. Advomas was looking for a partner with extensive knowledge of HITECH & HIPAA security standards. After vetting numerous data hosting partners to relocate its existing data center, Advomas selected Online Tech.
Advomas is moving its entire IT infrastructure to the cloud by the beginning of the third quarter of this year with redundancy locations in both Michigan and Indiana. This is one of many steps Advomas has completed to ensure compliance with state and federal laws surrounding patient health information and privacy. As Advomas continues to partner with providers and health plans on a national level, having the highest level of security around patient health information is at the top of its priority list.
