Hivelocity, a global provider of hosting solutions headquartered in Tampa, Florida, has announced the release of its latest dedicated server packages. These bare-metal servers are equipped with Intel’s latest generation of Coffee-Lake Xeon E processors.
Intel’s latest generation of Xeon E processors would introduce additional cores and higher clock speeds when compared to the original Xeon E chips introduced just last year.
Hivelocity will be offering the 6 core E-2236, the 8 core E-2278G and “the beefiest of the bunch”, the 8 core E-2288G. The latter not only includes Intel’s UHD Graphics P630 integrated onto the chips’ die, the ‘G’ in the part number stands for ‘graphics.’ It would also offer a base clock speed of “3.70 GHz with 5.0 GHz possible” with the turbo feature.
