Host Virtual, a cloud server provider with data centers spanning North and South America, Europe, Asia, and Oceania, has teamed up with Mist.io. The partnership with Mist.io offers Host Virtual’s users up-to-the-moment metrics, system status and automated actions.
The company teamed up with Mist.io to provide its users with management, monitoring and automation tools for their cloud servers. Mist.io would simplify cloud management workflows by providing a unified UI and API for users’ infrastructure. It emits actionable alerts so users can address operational issues from anywhere, using any web device.
“We’re very pleased to be able to bring Mist.io’s intelligence, user-friendly interface and options to our users,” said Sandy Bhargavi, Host Virtual’s Senior Vice President. “Our partnership will allow them to be able to use their cloud deployments exactly how they see fit with the kind of information they need, and delivered on demand.”
Mist.io provides mobile management, monitoring and automation for servers across clouds. It is a freemium service with an open source software component for multi-cloud management, but also a broker of cloud computing services. Mist.io’s goal is to democratize the cloud by making it more accessible and reducing vendor lock-in.
“Host Virtual is a highly flexible cloud server provider with features that are hard to match. Its high availability, clever architecture and freedom, are hard to find in cloud computing,” said Chris Psaltis, CEO at Mist.io. “We are very proud to bring another high valued infrastructure option to our users.”
