International VPS Hosting provider Host1Plus, based in London, UK, has opened a new colocation facility in Los Angeles, California and starts providing customer support in Spanish. The new data center in LA is the third Host1Plus colocation in the US.
According to the announcement, current developments are part of a larger strategy of Host1Plus, focused on the US and Asia Pacific markets.
Last month, Host1Plus presented a new VPS hosting location in LA, California. The LA network is running level3 10G, NTT 10G and peering in Any2, one of the largest Internet Exchanges in the US. Host1Plus’ new data center provides access to Asia Pacific markets via intercontinental landing points, so it is expected to boost customer experience for both West Coast and Asia Pacific customers.
Server location Hong Kong
“The opening of our second VPS hosting location in the US is one of foreseeable steps of Host1Plus development,” said Andrius Kazlauskas, co-founder and CEO of Host1Plus. “We are increasing our capabilities in order to and meet the needs of a growing user audience in the region. Due to high demand in the market we gain scale and confidence for further expansion.”
Host1Plus has also extended its customer support services to Spanish language. The service is already available daily via the company’s Live Chat and Ticket System.
Kazlauskas stressed that this step was taken in order to improve Spanish-speaking customer experience in the US market.
Currently, Host1Plus has 12 server locations worldwide, situated in the UK, the Netherlands, Germany, Lithuania, South Africa, Singapore, Brazil and the US and will open a new location in Hong Kong later this year.
