HostGator, an international provider of cloud-based web presence solutions, part of the Endurance International Group with brands also including Bluehost and iPage, has announced the launch of its latest line of dedicated servers.
Their upgraded dedicated server platform now includes SSD storage and has double both the processing power and the memory available when compared to HostGator‘s current platform.
According to HostGator, the new dedicated servers are over four times faster than the current platform – due to its new SSD drives and the use of Intel Xeon-D 1541 processors. In addition to the enhanced performance gains, customers now have access to free SSLs through their “easy to use” cPanel or Plesk Control Panel – to help ensure the security of their data. The dedicated servers are housed in a Tier 3 data center, which includes fully redundant power, network and cooling components as well as DDOS protection.
“HostGator is committed to providing its customers with an ecosystem that enables them to grow their online presence,” said John Orlando, chief marketing officer, Endurance International Group. “This approach helps our customers to focus on their business and audience without worrying about hitting technical limits. As our customers scale, demands on their site increase from both a customization and a resource perspective. These new servers allow our customers to go even further with HostGator‘s platform.”
The full set of Endurance brands includes: Constant Contact, Bluehost, HostGator, iPage, Domain.com, BigRock, SiteBuilder and SinglePlatform, among others. Headquartered in Burlington, Massachusetts, Endurance employs more than 4,000 people across the United States, Brazil, India and the Netherlands.
