Global hosting and cloud services provider, Leaseweb, has extended the integration of Veeam-powered solutions with Leaseweb Cloud Services to its global entities. The Veeam Backup services are now available in several Leaseweb locations across the globe. These locations include Amsterdam, London, and Frankfurt, while Washington, D.C. will be available before the year-end.
Leaseweb learned that its customers wanted to extend deployment of these Veeam Backup services into global offices. To ensure both a close proximity to their customers while also maintaining full controls of the data. Next to that, Leaseweb’s clients seeking to grow internationally were asking for availability in additional strategic markets. The expansion of the Veeam partnership means that the service is now more widely available across Leaseweb’s network of entities. Leaseweb has additional locations planned for 2021.
This announcement comes on the heels of the recent market introduction of Leaseweb Cloud Connect. This solution would allow users to “seamlessly” connect Leaseweb’s hosted infrastructure to their public cloud or hyperscaler environment, enabling the sharing of data and applications between different environments.
