Web Summit 2017, one of the largest tech events in Europe kicks off today at the Altice Arena (formerly known as MEO Arena) in Lisbon, Portugal. Last year, 50,000 people were attending the Internet technology event. This year, the Lisbon version of Web Summit will have 60,000 participants!

Apart from tech startups, CXOs and other executives from leading companies including Oracle, Cisco, Amazon, 1&1 DigitalOcean and GoDaddy are taking part this year.

The HostingJournalist editorial staff is now heading to Lisbon to attend this year’s Web Summit in Lisbon. We will pick up on-the-scene coverage of sessions and events while able to talk to executives and experts.
