HostPapa Buys Uptime Monitoring Software Provider UptimeMate

Canadian web hosting and cloud service provider, HostPapa, has acquired website monitoring service provider, UptimeMate. Based in the Groningen, the Netherlands and launched in 2019, UptimeMate would provide website owners with easy-to-use website monitoring software-as-a-service without the requirement for technical skills.

“Not only does HostPapa have a large customer base that can benefit from this solution, but UptimeMate truly complements their existing product offerings,” said Peter Steenbergen, co-founder of UptimeMate.

In addition to detecting downtime, UptimeMate also assist web administrators and agencies in proactively monitoring their website performance, including identifying broken links, invalid SSL certificates, poor website performance (including speed and mobile compatibility), and HTTPS errors. As with the other acquisitions recently, financial terms of the latest acquisition were not disclosed.
