Hosting company HostUcan.net, a Shanghai, China-based provider of dedicated servers, cloud servers and colocation, has launched a domain search tool to enable users to research and buy domain names at the lowest price available. The search tool compares registration fees from a variety of registrars and also includes domain marketplace data by partnering with domain marketplace Sedo.
HostUcan.net’s search tool helps users find the cheapest domain names by including the registration fees from many of the popular registrars, such as Namecheap.com, GoDaddy.com, and Networksolution.com.
Users need to enter a domain name and choose some TLDs, and then the Checker would immediately provide search results in the categories of “Available Domains” and “Registered Domains”. Under the Available Domains are prices of different registrars. If the domain name is taken, the tool would also check if the existing owner is selling the domain in marketplaces such Sedo and GoDaddy, and at what price.
The domain name search tool from HostUcan.net also includes a built-in WHOIS system. This means that users can check information about the registrant of a registered domain and its register, the registration date, when it expires, and also who is hosting it.
