Hostway, a cloud hosting and managed hosting provider headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, has announced the addition of two key hires – both tech sector veterans. Jim Ciampaglio has joined Hostway as Vice President of Channel Partners, while John Enright has been appointed General Manager of the company’s Web and Application Services business unit.
Both executives are tech sector veterans with strong track records of success in driving new business and developing innovative product offerings and channel strategies.
Jim Ciampaglio will drive channel partnership activities for all Hostway services, where he will expand Hostway’s relationships with existing partners and form new alliances to drive additional growth, including the key market segments of Telecommunications and Cable, Managed Service Providers, Value Added Resellers and Systems Integrators.
Prior to joining Hostway, Mr. Ciampaglio led reseller and retail channel sales at Verio. His 20-plus years of experience also include key leadership roles with Verizon, FireHost, NaviSite and NeoSpire. Selected as a CRN Channel Chief in 2013, Ciampaglio has set himself apart in the industry with unique strategies that capitalize on industry changes. He’ll be taking the lead in bringing Hostway’s recently released Cloud Connex reseller platform to a broader set of partners.
Web and Application Services Division
John Enright will head up the Web and Application Services business division, bringing more than 20 years of hosting industry leadership experience to his new role. Enright founded one of the first North American hosting companies, ValueWeb, in 1994, increasing revenue to more than $20 million before the company merged with Affinity Internet. At Affinity, Enright led successful product and portfolio diversification projects and brought on key strategic partners.
Prior to joining Hostway, Enright was the Chief Operating Officer of LimeLabs, a global Internet incubator, and most recently served as President of HostMySite, the small business division of Hosting.com.
“Jim and John will play integral parts in our drive to consolidate and expand Hostway’s leadership position in the industry,” said Robert Boles, CEO of Hostway. “They will greatly contribute to our stated goal of delivering more targeted solutions to the SMB space with industry-leading service levels.”
