Employees of Lama Lama, a Dutch digital design company, have taken it upon themselves to apply their skills in web development to help restaurants in Holland endure the damaging effects that the COVID-19 lockdown is having on their business.
Lama Lama has launched donoren.restaurant as a donations platform, where restaurant loyalists can make monetary contributions to a Dutch restaurant of their choosing. In its short history, donoren.restaurant has already seen much success. Mark de Vries, Technology Officer and Partner of Lama Lama, chatted with DigitalOcean about the motivation behind using the cloud to help their community.
