Upon creation of a reseller account, we provide you with a free set of Partially Branded OrderBox Nameservers for all the web services that you sell. These Branded Orderbox Nameservers are hosted on servers provided by us. Any orders that are registered through our platform can use the partially branded orderbox nameservers. So if you or your customers have purchased any order from within our panel i.e the orderbox panel, you can use our partially branded nameservers.
Please note, that if a domain does not have any order within our platform, it cannot use our partially branded orderbox nameservers. Only once the order is purchased in our platform, the DNS zone for that particular domain or order is activated by orderbox in our system.
You can brand our partially branded orderbox nameservers with your custom name or company name. Branded Nameservers or custom nameservers are your very own nameserver addresses to use for hosting your websites and your client’s websites through our platform with the help of the orderbox interface.
Branded nameservers are used in a variety of circumstances:
– They’re one extra step to ‘white-labelling’ our service. In other words, they can be used to hide the fact that you are using our partially branded orderbox nameservers and you can use your custom name or company name.
– People who are all doing “WHOIS” lookup on your domain names will see your Branded Nameservers.
Note:
It is imperative that you create and use all Nameservers since these Nameservers are distributed in various Data Centers around the World and in case any one of the Name Servers is down, you and your Customers will not be impacted by this.
If you choose to use the Branded Nameservers, the Partially Branded Nameservers will be deleted by the system. The Partially Branded Nameservers will be created again, if at some point in time you choose to switch back to them.
Please note, that if a domain does not have any order with us, it cannot use our default partially branded or fully branded orderbox nameservers. Only once the order is purchased in our platform, the DNS zone for that particular domain or order is activated in the orderbox interface through our system.
