Bare Metal Cloud (BMC) now lets you deploy Rancher servers for automated Kubernetes deployment. This video outlines how you can do it in several simple steps:
STEP 1: Log in to your BMC account or create one here: https://phoenixnap.com/bare-metal-cloud
STEP 2: Choose Solutions from the left side menu and click Deploy Kubernetes Server on the screen.
STEP 3: Choose your location and enter your Cluster name and description in the available dialogue.
STEP 4: Choose one of the available server instances or contact our Sales team for advanced configurations.
STEP 5: Add a Public SSH key. If you have not generated it before, simply open Command Prompt on your machine and type ssh-keygen. The key will be generated in your C:Users folder. Copy it to the associated field in the BMC portal.
STEP 6: Continue with the default Rancher configuration or choose to make Advanced settings. If you choose Advanced settings, you will have an option to set an Access Token, Certificates, TLS, etc. Once completed, click Create Kubernetes Cluster.
STEP 7: Copy your temporary password some place safe and change it once you get access to Rancher UI.
STEP 8: Click close and wait for your server to be created.
