Hydro One Telecom Expands Network to Montreal with PoP in Cologix Data Center

Hydro One Telecom, a broadband telecommunications services provider and wholly-owned subsidiary of utility provider Hydro One Inc., has selected Cologix – a network neutral interconnection and colocation data center company – to deploy its point of presence (PoP) in Montreal.

Hydro One Telecom chose Cologix’s MTL 7 colocation data center at 1155 Robert-Bourassa Boulevard in downtown Montreal to support new client growth and existing customer services.

Hydro One Telecom is a facilities-based carrier that offers high-speed data networking services for critical infrastructure in Ontario, Montreal, Buffalo and Detroit, leveraging fiber routes from its parent company, Hydro One Inc., to provide unique routes and redundancy for its customers in the carrier, financial and enterprise segments.

Cologix has colocation data centers available in Columbus, Dallas, Jacksonville, Lakeland, Minneapolis, Montreal, New Jersey, Toronto, and Vancouver.
