20-Year Industry Veteran, Nick Russo, Joins Host.net as Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

Host.net, a multinational provider of cloud, managed infrastructure and network services, has announced the appointment of Nick Russo as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO). As CTO, Mr. Russo will be responsible for executing the company’s technical vision, identifying emerging technology trends, research & development, creating relevant policy and developing new IT solutions.

Nick Russo will also communicate the company’s technology strategy to partners, management, investors and employees. Mr. Russo brings with him 20 years of IT experience in the Managed Service Provider area, as well as LAN and WAN architecture.

Prior to joining Host.net, Mr. Russo was the Chief Technologist at Apogee IT Services. His role was to provide a clear course for the company’s technology roadmap, industry research, mentoring and team development, refinement of the Company’s current technologies and top tier troubleshooting. Mr. Russo’s strong networking experience includes network design, architecture, planning and deployment.
