Stratoscale, a cloud infrastructure company backed by over $70 million from leading investors including: Battery Ventures, Bessemer Venture Partners, Cisco, Intel, Qualcomm Ventures, SanDisk and Leslie Ventures, has been awarded CRN’s Tech Innovator Award in the ‘Software – Enterprise Management’ category for its software-only solution, Stratoscale Symphony.
Stratoscale Symphony would set the company apart from its competitors by transforming any hardware into an application-centric and service-driven AWS Cloud Region within the enterprise data center, coupled with an advanced user interface that would deliver an effective and functional user experience for administrators and users.
The solution from Stratoscale breaks down the silos between virtualization, networking and storage, enabling a single administrator to manage all aspects of the cloud infrastructure within one “easy-to-use” platform, freeing valuable time to support internal customers and the business in addition to offering further cost-benefit advantages.
“As companies embark on the journey toward an ‘all-in’ cloud strategy, they require a solution that allows them to stay competitive and offer a holistic solution to all types of applications, both legacy and cloud-native, as well as data,” said Ariel Maislos, CEO of Stratoscale. “To do this, companies must augment their aging data center infrastructure with a solution that can be deployed quickly and deliver the same streamlined user experience they’ve come to expect from AWS and other public cloud vendors. CRN has recognized that Stratoscale offers a competitive solution that effectively meets customer demand by addressing complex issues within the data center.”
The CRN editorial team selected companies of all sizes selling to North American channel partners for its Tech Innovator Awards. This year, the CRN Tech Innovator Awards honored vendors in 28 categories, with the winners and finalists selected from 230 applicants within multiple technology sectors, including cloud, security, networking and mobile. Winners were celebrated at CRN’s NexGen Cloud Conference, in December 2016, in Anaheim, California.
