phoenixNAP Unveils Cyber Security Threat Management Suite, InfraSentry

phoenixNAP, a global provider of cloud infrastructure, bare metal dedicated servers, colocation, and specialized Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) technology solutions, has announced the launch of its new security services product offering, InfraSentry.

InfraSentry from phoenixNAP is a security service suite providing customers with a holistic security solution, capable of advanced detection with active defense mechanisms, protecting customers against potential security threats targeting their environments.

“Our teams have been hard at work for nearly two years, building the foundational components needed to deliver this service to our customers,” said William Bell, Executive Vice President of Product, phoenixNAP. “We have created a 24/7 SOC, built from the ground up, working hand-in-hand with the teams that you trust to build and maintain your critical infrastructure. InfraSentry is the realization of our vision to create a truly secure Infrastructure-as-a-Service platform.”

“The launch of InfraSentry is a major milestone for our team and the first step in our MDR (Manage, Detect and Respond) capability,” added Mr. Bell. “ It is enhanced through Incident Orchestration and the integration of Dark Web Threat Intelligence. We continue to focus on extending this service offering to help our clients further solidify their security posture.”

Designed to complement phoenixNAP’s Infrastructure Services by adding real-time Threat Detection Services (TDS), Advanced End-Point Protection (AEP), Incident Triage (IT), and Mitigative Services (such as discounted Backup-as-a-Service Advanced), this cyber security suite would provide phoenixNAP customers with a global communication fabric and battle-tested approach, modeled on the NIST Cyber Security Framework.

“We are not an audit company attempting to offer security-related services to capitalize on a market gap,” said Anthony Dezilva, Product Manager, Security Services, phoenixNAP. “Security for us is not an add-on service. It is built into the fabric of our design and the cornerstone of every service we offer. InfaSentry is a natural extension of our commitment to security. We believe that security is a basic customer expectation and it is our responsibility to provide our customers with the support necessary to keep their data safe.”

Data Security Cloud

InfraSentry complements the recent launch of phoenixNAP’s Data Security Cloud, a regulatory compliant cloud infrastructure platform that supports workloads requiring stringent governing controls to support organizations’ certification needs.

To maintain the necessary level of alertness and preparedness, the phoenixNAP teams would train alongside the highest levels of cyber defenders within the industry. The security teams gain battle-tested skills and contribute in return through the continued development of orchestration techniques, and the use of its global footprint to detect and operationalize threat-vector intelligence before it impacts phoenixNAP’s client base.

“InfraSentry represents a significant extension of our security services portfolio and is fundamental to our ‘Secure-by-Design’ product focus,” said Ian McClarty, president of phoenixNAP. “With threat detection and management as a primary focus in a growing number of organizations, we are thrilled to offer a solution that responds to the immediate needs of the market.”

phoenixNAP is Microsoft Gold Datacenter partner, Platinum Veeam Cloud & Service Provider (VCSP) partner, and a Premier Service Provider in the VMware Cloud Provider Program. The company is also a PCI DSS Validated Service Provider while its flagship data center in Phoenix, Arizona, is SOC Type 1 and SOC Type 2 audited.
