IBM SoftLayer Signs $10 Million Agreement to Provide Novitex with Cloud Hosting Services

IBM SoftLayer and Novitex Enterprise Solutions, a provider of end-to-end document life cycle solutions, have signed an estimated $10 million agreement for IBM to provide cloud hosting-based infrastructure and security services leveraging Softlayer’s infrastructure to support Novitex’s document outsourcing solutions.

The company also wanted to ensure data security, privacy and compliance for their Fortune 500 clients, as well as healthcare companies, financial institutions, government entities and other clients who have rigorous security, privacy and regulatory compliance concerns.

With SoftLayer, an IBM Company, providing cloud hosting services, Novitex has a highly available and secured cloud hosting services environment to meet the needs of its growing Fortune 500 client base. Novitex clients would also benefit from high availability with built-in disaster recovery. IBM Security Services not only protects data access, but provides deep layers of application security through analytics and event monitoring.
