Ingram Micro Cloud, one of the world’s leading markets for cloud products and services for the IT channel, has unveiled its new Marketplace-as-a-Service model to assist IT reseller partners completely automate and expand their cloud operations.

Ingram Micro Cloud channel reseller partners may use the new solution to establish their own cloud marketplace and expand with automated cloud subscription management and invoicing, allowing them to commercialize and sell their goods and services faster.

For IT reseller partners, the advantages include the ability to grow and serve more customers, a faster time to market thanks to automation of service delivery, billing, and invoicing, and 360-degree visibility into product margins, pricing structure, and bundling. In addition, IT reseller partners will be able to inherit Ingram Micro Cloud’s product catalog on their own customized storefront, allowing them to increase cross-selling potential with their own intellectual property and services.

Furthermore, according to Ingram Micro Cloud, the Marketplace-as-a-Service architecture allows their reseller partners to set up a customer-facing storefront at a far lower total cost of ownership (TCO) than is now feasible.
