Innovative Solutions

A multi-year strategic collaboration agreement (SCA) has been reached between Innovative Solutions, a supplier of cloud services for expanding organizations, and Amazon Web Services (AWS). In order to effectively accelerate the adoption of cloud services among small- and medium-sized businesses (SMB)s and startups, Innovative Solutions and AWS will closely align their sales, marketing, and delivery teams. A special emphasis will be placed on the software, fintech, life sciences, and retail industries.

Through managed service options and the company’s capability to assist clients through the whole lifecycle of digital transformation, including migration, modernization, data strategy, and machine learning (ML), Innovative Solutions intends to improve its customers’ cloud journey experiences.

“We are excited to expand our relationship with Innovative Solutions,” said Ruba Borno, President of Worldwide Channels & Alliances at AWS.

“We’re thrilled to work with AWS on this remarkable opportunity,” said Justin Copie, owner and CEO of Innovative Solutions. “This SCA helps us achieve our vision of helping every SMB customer become a technology company. The size and scale of this agreement, and how it will help us accelerate, is without precedent.”

The partnership between Innovative Solutions and AWS would encourage significant investments in a number of areas that would satisfy the rising demand for AWS goods and services among Innovative’s 600+ SMB clients as well as with new clients in the US and Canada.

To support the advanced stages of its clients’ cloud migration, Innovative Solutions will broaden their migration and modernization practice, managed services offerings, and build up new practices in data analytics and machine learning. In order to assist SMB clients in making rapid purchases and accelerating their migration to AWS, Innovative Solutions says it will also invest on the expansion and size of its portfolio. The firm will sell its solutions in the AWS Marketplace.

Independent of the deal, Innovative Solutions anticipates hiring more than 200 new workers in the following four years to assist satisfy the rising demand for cloud expertise and support companies in achieving their goals through technology.

“Talent acquisition and growth is a central part of our strategy,” said Jaime Eisenhauer, Chief People Officer at Innovative. “We provide our customers with proven experts, so we have aligned both our recruiting and training programs to provide our services with the best talent in North America. It starts with a solid foundation, and every employee at Innovative – from administrative support to accounting to sales to the executive team – has earned an AWS certification. From there, we go deep with AWS Solutions Architects, DevOps engineers, and specialties that match the needs of our customers. Working at Innovative is like getting a graduate degree in the cloud.”

Innovative’s Growth

Innovative has quickly grown as an AWS Premier Tier Services Partner by introducing specialized services for companies looking to transfer their server infrastructure to AWS and manage a customer’s cloud operations afterward. Innovative Solutions intends to establish the following four practice groups as a result of the new agreement: Migrations, Modernization, Data Engagements, and Machine Learning. Each would operate as a separate line of business and be in charge of expanding the breadth, depth, agility, and reach to serve the mutual customers of Innovative and AWS with the greatest possible customer experiences at every step of their digital transformation.

The expansion of Innovative’s Managed Cloud Services (MCS) business line is one of the company’s growth goals. Because their infrastructure is managed for cost, security, and compliance using a mix of tools and services, MCS clients would be more secure when expanding on the cloud. CloudCheckr, a cloud management tool in Spot by NetApp’s portfolio for cloud operations, is one fundamental function offered for free to all MCS clients. CloudCheckr offers insight and information to better manage expenses, improve infrastructure’s security and compliance, and maximize resource consumption in conjunction with Innovative’s cloud expertise.
