Bizway Bizway BV, specialist in hosting and system management and part of the Intermax Group, has won the European tender for the provisioning of web hosting and migration services to SURF – an ICT cooperation organization for education and research in the Netherlands. The framework agreement will be concluded with immediate effect for a period of four years.

Bizway is part of the Intermax Group, which was founded in 1994 and further consists of Intermax Cloudsourcing, Guardian360 and NFIR. Together they keep “complex” cloud infrastructures and advanced security services available 24/7. The Intermax Group employs a total of 160 people – specialists at the interface between cloud technology and cyber security.

The tendering procedure is part of the collective purchasing process initiated by the SURF cooperative on behalf of its members. The contract consists of several services, including web hosting and migration. Bizway provides a standardized solution for web hosting, enabling SURF members to create their own websites via a customer portal. For the migration services, the SURF members have access to a cloud environment via this customer portal. It would enable organizations to access their applications “safely and quickly” from any desired location.

The Bizway customer portal offers participants their own, completely separate environment with an interface that the participant can set up according to their own wishes. Bizway would help the SURF members by individually identifying their specific needs. After this, each participant is provided with a tailor-made service within the framework of the outsourcing deal. In addition, Bizway provides training courses for participants so that they can work with the customer portal, regardless of the level of IT knowledge they have.
