iomartcloud Releases Web Content Filter Product in Partnership With Exinda

Cloud hosting provider iomartcloud, with offices in Europe and on the US East Coast, has partnered with Exinda to deliver a web filtering solution aimed at enterprise networks and primary and secondary schools. iomartcloud’s Web Filter product is accredited for Child Safety Online by the British Standards Institute.

The content filtering capabilities from iomartcloud have been integrated with Exinda’s WAN Optimization and Network Control appliance.

The company, part of European cloud company iomart Group, has partnered with Exinda to protect enterprises and schools from growing cyber security threats.

As a result of increased online collaboration and mobile device expansion in the workplace, the risk of employees and students accessing inappropriate content on the network is growing, according to iomartcloud. In response, the company has launched the Exinda Content Filter which integrates the content filtering capabilities from iomartcloud into Exinda’s WAN Optimization and Network Control appliances which already would have helped over 3,000 organizations worldwide deliver safe and reliable end-user experiences.

The cloud-based Exinda Content Filter will provide IT managers with the ability to block access to prohibited content, prevent staff and students from downloading and sharing copyrighted material, and eliminate misuse of the network. With its reporting tools, the Exinda Content Filter enables IT staff to monitor users and applications on or off the network, and set intelligent policies that restrict unauthorized behavior.
