IT Monitoring and Analytics Provider, Zenoss, Unveils Global Partner Network (ZPN)

Zenoss Inc., a provider of unified monitoring and analytics solutions for physical, virtual, cloud hosting based, and application-centric IT infrastructures, has announced its new global channel partner program. Participants within the Zenoss Partner Network (ZPN) receive access to Zenoss products for development and testing, comprehensive training, reseller discounts, and active partner management and support to ensure market success.

ZPN launches with the announcement of several partners, including the global IT, consulting, and outsourcing company Wipro, international data center solutions provider OnX, and Asia-based cloud enablement services firm, CloudFX.

zenoss-partner-program“Beyond the significant savings Zenoss delivers when compared to costly legacy monitoring systems, Zenoss has the only scalable, light-weight unified monitoring and analytics solution that can provide visibility into today’s complex infrastructures,” said Patrick Emerson, VP of Business Development and Channels at Zenoss. “ZPN provides a clear path for partners to increase their IT infrastructure management expertise and deliver tremendous value to customers. Led by an executive team with a strong partner development background, the Zenoss channel program is focused on attracting and retaining best-in-class partners and delivering best-in-class solutions.”

University of Maryland University College

At the same time, Zenoss has announced that University of Maryland University College (UMUC) has successfully deployed Zenoss-as-a-Service (ZaaS) to reduce waste, increase efficiency, and ensure service quality to its 93,000 users worldwide. UMUC is Maryland’s “open university”, serving working adults, military service people and families, and veterans who reside in Maryland, across the United States and around the world.

cloud-hosting-university“With roughly 40,000 concurrent daily users around the globe, IT operations directly impact revenue and user experience,” said Greg M. Smith, Assistant Vice President, IT Infrastructure at University of Maryland University College. “Continuing our growth meant implementing a cloud first infrastructure – shifting from primarily on-premise infrastructure to the cloud. Zenoss gives us the control and visibility we need – from early detection, rapid root cause isolation, through diagnosis and on to resolution. This helps us ensure service quality for each of our users, regardless of location.”

Available as an on-premise or a cloud-based service, Zenoss Service Dynamics provides unified, automated performance and availability monitoring and event management for the entire IT infrastructure. Robust APIs would facilitate easy integration with provisioning systems, service desk applications, CMDBs, and orchestration systems.

The combination of capabilities Zenoss Service Dynamics provides – unified monitoring and event management, service impact and alerting, analytics, remediation, and integration – help IT Operations teams improve service quality, reduce operational costs, and address issues before they impact service delivery.
