itopia, a Miami, Florida-based provider of cloud computing services, has announced the release of its Cloud Launcher, a proprietary platform that would enable managed service providers (MSPs), software vendors (ISVs) and value added resellers (VARs) to rapidly and securely move their customers’ applications, desktops and entire IT infrastructure to the cloud on a private-label basis with no capital investment.
As a cloud services-enablement platform, Cloud Launcher would quickly provision and deploy full-featured Windows desktops with a library of 1,000+ business/productivity applications, providing a private-labeled workspace in the cloud. This provides channel partners (MSPs, ISVs and VARs) with one source for their Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), certified hosted QuickBooks and “Workspace-as-a-Service” delivered from a single pane of glass.
“The most compelling feature of Cloud Launcher® is how fast and easy it is,” said Mitch Welin, CEO of U.S. telecommunications services company, ComRes. “In less than 15 minutes on itopia’s registration portal, we were able to begin provisioning our customers’ cloud workspaces. And because we’re able to operate the platform with Tier 1 support techs instead of high-level engineers, we’re able to scale our business as efficiently as possible while meeting our customers’ demands.”
Channel Partners

“Cloud Launcher is the game-changer MSPs, ISVs and VARs have been waiting for as it eliminates the key barriers to entry into the cloud: capital outlay for infrastructure, training and configuration,” said itopia CEO Jonathan Lieberman. “Whether our partners are looking to offer a hosted server or take their customers entire infrastructure to the cloud, itopia’s white label, pay-as you-go program gives them a one-stop, flexible solution.”
In a related move to boost channel partners’ success, itopia has engaged noted cloud industry thought leader and channel expert Jim Lippie to help the company identify and grow partnership opportunities.
“itopia has thoughtfully developed a great, no-risk program that lets service providers offer cloud workspaces to their clients and prospects,” said Jim Lippie, three times named one of the most influential people in the managed services industry by MSP Mentor. “I’m looking forward to spreading the value proposition and building the channel-partner roster.”
